This course provides a broad overview of information security and privacy topics, with the primary goal of giving students the knowledge and tools they need “in the field” in order to deal with the security/privacy challenges they are likely to be encountered in today's “Big Data” world. The course is targeted towards Masters and 1st-year PhD students. It is a required course in the Data Science Masters curriculum but is optional for other EPFL students.
