The goal of this course is to present in a rigorous manner the mathematical tools underlying the fondamentals of signal processing. Particular emphasize is put on the Fourier analysis of deterministic and stochastics signals with applications to neurobiology, wireless communications, network traffic modeling, random sampling. The course mostly targets engineers desiring to establish familiar and advanced results with a firmer mathematical ground, but also mathematicians willing to master the basics of modern signal processing.
