The main objective of this course is to make the students understand the importance of the spatial issues in Environmental Sciences and Engineering, for example for interpolation or mapping. Different concepts, methods and techniques devoted to the analysis of spatial data in their diversity will be presented. At the end of the course, the students will be able to identify the spatial stakes of environmental problems, to develop relevant modeling processes, and to propose some solutions.
