Just a word about the midterm for the Markov chains course: some of you mentioned a schedule conflict with another midterm on Thursday, November 7 (12:15-2PM).
Although I feel that attending two courses that have a scheduling conflict is not a good idea, I would like to ask the following: would it be OK for everyone that we move the midterm to:
Friday, November 8, 3:15-5:00PM ?
If I do not get any negative answer to this question until next Wednesday, then we will indeed move the midterm to this new date.
