Dear students,
First, just a note that the exam takes place in room AAC 231 on Thursday. This room is quite difficult to find, and the path to it is not straightforward. So in order for you to avoid performing a random walk during the hour preceding the exam, here is the way: you should first go to level 0 in the architecture building (at the level of the restaurant "Le Corbusier"), then follow the corridors until the end of the building, and then climb up the stairs to the second floor.
Second, you will receive shortly the grades for the project. All reports were good and quite detailed. We adjusted the grades (max 24 points, like the midterm), based on the following criteria:
1. completeness of the analysis; were all questions well addressed ?
2. relevance and readability of your graphs; here, a few comments are in order:
- Please pay attention to the presentation of a graph: readability of the axes and scales chosen (e.g. if the whole curve is in a corner of the graph...); and if readable, can we extract any useful information from it?
- Next, please pay also attention in not drawing TOO MANY of them. Too much information makes the useful information difficult to read/find...
All the best,
Olivier and Nicolas
