On Monday (16th of March) the course will be given as a Zoom webinar.
Steps to follow before the lecture:
- Download and set-up zoom from this link: https://epfl.zoom.us/download (You don’t have to sign up for joining meetings)
- Go to Preferences -> Audio. Check the box that says “mute microphone when joining a meeting.” This is to prevent the echo your mic will make once you join the lecture.
Instructions for joining a lecture:
- We will e-mail to you the meeting ID for the lecture before the lecture begins.
- In zoom, click on “join meeting”. Enter the meeting ID. Check the box for “turn off my video”. Do NOT check the box for “don’t connect to audio”, in order to hear the professor speaking.
- If you have questions, use the chat option.
Note: The lecture will be recorded, so you don’t have to do it yourself. We will send you a link afterwards.
