Miniproject 1: External sources for Exercise 2.1

Hello,

Sorry to ask this short before the deadline, but after our pre-submission last checkup, my partner and I wondered about the use of existing literature for Exercise 2.1.

The aim was to set different parameters to get different firing patterns. After several hours of test, it was decided to look for value tables for a starting point. An existing study was thus found and its parameters were adapted to match our modelization.

This seemed natural at the time (the source was cited, and the influence of parameters was still explored, both in the first "blind" part and afterwards with adaptation), as such a process of reproduction and adaption is regular in scientific research.

However, the question appeared: "was this possible (no instruction banned it nor encouraged it)?". It still seems in the spirit of the exercise to us, but we prefer to be safe.

Thank you in advance,

Best regards,

Not sure to understand your question.

But if the question is: Can we use parameters from literature  ?

Of course you can !  It's almost encouraged.
