Dear Students,
welcome to today's lecture. Today we cover many 'Tricks of the trade' that are widely used in Deep Learning. Many of these tricks are also available in the standard software tools - and you may want to use some of them in the miniproject.
I do not focus so much on how you implement these methods in practice, but rather my aim is to convince you WHY these tricks should work, and what they are suppposed to achieve.
