Hi there,
Can you tell me what is the format of the quizzes, do we need to come in the campus to give them?
Thank you so much,
Mircea Sorin-Sebastian
as written both on our welcome message and on the planning (this is not at all a criticism, simply pointers to the information sources), the quizzes will be on-line, and could be done remotely.
Students from he group allowed to come the quiz day can come to campus (CM5) and do it on his/her computer, or can do it from anywhere else (on some computer).
Students from the groups not allowed to come shall to it on their own (typically from home).
These quizzes are like a home-work, but in a limited and fixed period of time.
They will open at 8:14 and close at 9:01.
Hello,
Where will the quizzes be available? On moodle?
Would it be possible for you to create a fake quizz such that we check that we can access them and do not loose time when the graded ones will come?
Last year first quiz is now on-line for training from the Moodle main page.
We tried to have its form as close as possible to what we have in mind (especially: 1 attempt only -- which is sub-optimal for training, but I don't want any confusion with what the real quiz will be; for further tentative/practice, please refer to the PDF of the actual last year quiz, available on the web site)
but didn't reformulate at all last year questions (which were designed for paper; some questions don't fit well the on-line format and would, of course, be asked a bit differently in this framework).
