Dear Students,
As triggered by many private questions and Moodle questions from students, the following clarification is made regarding the rumor mongering.
When selecting a node for rumor mongering, a node should not select the node from which it received this rumor message; i.e. the peer should not rumor-monger a message back to the peer that has just sent it the message.
Hope this solves some confusions some of you had regarding rumor mongering.
