Dear INLP students,
due to the new directives (all courses go online), we propose you the following setup for our class in the coming weeks:
- lectures will still be available by pre-recorded videos
- in order not to overwhelm you but to still keep contact, the review slots will be modified as follows:
- available to all the groups every week (except this week, see "Bootstrap" below);
- reduced to 45 min;
- covering the current week (rather than the last 3 weeks);
- on-line (Zoom meeting: 652 787 111 (https://epfl.zoom.us/j/652787111));
- the hands-on (green) slot will remain unchanged but be on-line (Zoom meeting: 652 787 111 (https://epfl.zoom.us/j/652787111));
- the practical session ("PS"; green) slots will be on your own (home work): both the handout and the solution will be available; practice them home and ask question on the forum if needed;
- the "exercises" (purple) slots are also on you own (home work);
- quizzes will remain unchanged.
So basically we offer you two 45-min slots of on-line contact every week (with exceptions):
Since the 8-9 slot is sometimes occupied by quizzes, we propose you these two: https://moodlearchive.epfl.ch/2020-2021/mod/choice/view.php?id=1107741 (available from the "Poll" section on the Moodle main page of the course);
Please answer that poll before Wednesday 8:30pm. Don't answer if you don't care.

since group C didn't had their review of the morphology class yet,
and since group B would lack their review for PoS tagging + HMM next week (when the above plan will be implemented [45 min review on parsing ONLY]), I'll proceed as follow this very Wednesday:
