Hi,

I have a question regarding the counterexamples that we should give in 1.d) - is it sufficient to provide counterexamples in terms of codes that show that if K1>=1/2 and K2<1/2 propositions A and B, respectively, are not always true, or should we construct some sort of proof by contradiction, starting from K1>=1/2 and K2<1/2?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Thanks for the question. I cannot really answer the question in detail without spoiling the question. I will advise you to negate the statements of the proposition carefully to look where the opportunity for providing counter-examples arises.

You will realize then that providing a counter-example is actually proving the negation (hence contradicting the original proposition).

Best of luck,
