Dear all,
For the exercises of tomorrrow's session Friday Oct 1 concentrate on exercises 1 and 2 of hmw 2.
Exercise 3 of hmw 2 can be left for next week (although it is self contained and you already have the material to do it you have to imitate a proof that was left out today and will be discussed next time).
There is also ample food for thought with the first two quizzes that only require material discussed up to now. In particular the second one will give some better intuitions on what recurrence/transience mean. Solutions of quizzes will be revealed next week but dont hesitate to ask questions before to the assistants.
