Hello,
Regarding the question 8 of quiz 3:
Why might the forwarding table of an IP router change?
a. Because a link failed.
b. Because the local Autonomous System (AS) changed its intra-domain routing protocol from Bellman-Ford to Disjkstra.
c. Any of the above.
I think answer c. should be correct, since when changing routing protocol, we are not guaranteed there exists a unique optimal solution to the routing problem. Thus Disjkstra might converge to another (also optimal) solution, different from the one found through Bellman-Ford. In that situation, the forwarding table might also change because of a change in routing protocol (meaning c. is correct)
Is my reasoning correct ?
