Here are, as promised, some precisions about the competition on the 23rd:
- You will be given the values of a and b, as well as the adjacency matrix of a graph taken from a real dataset, with more than 1000 nodes (but we do not tell you yet how much more).
- The adjacency matrix will be posted on Moodle in numpy format (example attached to this email).
- Your task will be to send us back (in approx 45 min time) a vector of +-1 giving your estimate of the two communities (also in numpy format).
- We will then compute the overlap of each team: the winner takes it al :)
