Dear all,
We have covered so far the first 7 chaps of UML on the PAC learning model and related notions. We will soon post a few extra problems on this part from old exams so you can train yourself on it any time during the semester.
Monday we change gears for the second part of the course (approx 4 weeks) and study gradient descent, SGD, and finally related mean field methods put forward in the recent literature. This part is independent of PAC so a good rebooting point !
I also remind that we have extended the deadline for the first graded hmw and that the new deadline for upload on moodle is next monday 28 march evening (meanwhile you will also find the new hmw's on moodle).
