Mandatory training:
- Moodle quiz "DLL Ideation and small machining": go.epfl.ch/moodle-training. “General safety training to access the Discovery Learning Labs and professional workshop» with password: DLL2020.
- Workflow on Service https://go.epfl.ch/practical-projects-training
- 3D printer training: in person, 11:30am-midday on the 5th of May. We will start the lab session in the usual room (BS 160), we will then take you over to DLL at 11:30am to tour the lab and get the 3D printer training.
Training 1 & 2 do not need to be completed before the lab session tomorrow. However, you will need to complete them before you can use the facilities yourself.
Once the above are completed, you will have access to 3D printers, tools and soldering stations in DLL. You will be able to access the shared locker at DLL containing the 3D printed parts and electronics for this course.
- Access with TAs: lab sessions on the 5th, 12th and 19th of May where you can ask Antoine Masson (antoine.masson@epfl.ch) and the other TAs hardware related questions.
- Access on your own: you can access the facilities every weekday after you have completed the mandatory training. There will be staff at DLL who you can ask for help if needed. The 3D printer room will be unlocked between 1pm and 8pm but you can access it in the morning using your card as well.
