In the project description it is written that each question has a word limit and that we should stick to that. In the questions this word limit is specified as a caption length.
Does this mean that we should answer questions in the figure caption of a result?
Or is the word limit merely for the figure itself and the figure is then accompanied by an explanation without a word limit?
Of course as long as everything fits in 5 pages.
In addition, in what sense does the report have to be 'smooth', i.e. complete with introduction and conclusion?
Hi Lucas,
1. The word limit is for everything you have in your report to answer a question -- including the caption and the answer in the main text. So, you have 2 options: (i) Write a short description of the figure in the caption + a more detailed answer in the main text, or (ii) write everything in the figure caption and refer to the figure number in the main text.
2. The report does not need to include an introduction.
3. You do not need to include a separate conclusion section. You can make all your conclusions in reply to question 21.
