Dear students,
Welcome to POCS 2022. We are very excited about this new edition, and we've worked hard to make the POCS material even more interesting for this coming semester. The changes will make the course harder than it was before, but in terms of learning outcomes it will be much better.
The assigned readings for the first two weeks are the Exokernel, the Global Name Service, and Chord. We recommend that you already start reading the papers, even if just at a high level, because it will help you better benefit from the in-class lectures and discussions.
