Doing Labs in Windows Terminal

When trying to do the labs in my Windows machine, some commands such as the host one are not recognized as an internal or external command. Is there some plug-in/extension that could be used to do the labs. The VM works, however everything runs slower there so I was wondering if there is an alternative.

Hey! There's no plug-in or extension. However, each command should normally have an equivalent on Windows. E.g., "host" corresponds to "nslookup." "traceroute" corresponds to "tracert." "ifconfig" corresponds to "ipconfig." In general, if you google "How do I do x on Windows?" you will most likely get your answer. I just don't know 100% if the latest Windows support all the commands, but I expect they do. Hope this helps.
