I just had a look at the VM and the snapshots seem to eat up a lot of storage space - about 32GB.
Are the snapshots relevant for us students or can we delete them (except for the last one)?

Hey,
The snapshots are there so I can change the quartus version between successive VM updates more easily.
You can delete some of the prior snapshots if you want, but the snapshots will be merged together by virtualbox and you won't be saving any space. The tools we use are quite large, and it's normal to take up ~30 GB.
