The major goal of this course is to show how upcoming courses in chemistry, mathematics, physics, biology and other areas will be used to gain a scientific understanding of environmental problems and then help to solve them. While working towards this objective, a variety of environmental engineering applications and career options will be presented, with the intent of familiarizing students with the breadth of this field.
