Zoom Instructions
For the followings weeks till the situation with corona virus is updated we are going to use zoom as a more direct mean of communication for answering your questions for the exercise session. Below you will find the instructions you need to follow in order to join our class channel.
Step 1. Download the app

Step 2. Log in with you EPFL account
When you open zoom you will see this window and you choose the option “Sign with SSO”
Then you see this window and you write epfl in the box
and now you are redirected to the usual gaspar/tequila login where you put your gaspar credentials
Now you are logged in.
Step 3. Join the group
In the zoom window you, you press the button “Contacts” in the upper right corner
then you press the [+] button next to the Directory | Channels and you choose the choice “Create a channel”
At this point a window will pop-up with 2 options “Create a Channel” and “Join a channel”
You choose the option “Join a Channel” and you write in the box “BMNN”
Now you click the option and then click “Join”
Now you are in the group.
You can access the group if you go to the section chat.
Usage
So the idea is that during the TA hours you ask a question or make a request for a question and then one of your TAs will either answer the question in the chat or will contact you directly with a private audio/video session, in case that more students have the same question we could also make a session with more people. Outside the TA hours we will recommend you to use moodle for your questions as before.
