BIO-465: Miniproject 1

Hi all,

I would like to ask you if anyone of you, when changing the stimulation current for the exponential model (while keeping it higher than the rheobase one) had problems with the spikes resetting even though they do not touch the threshold of -30mV.

I realize it is really late to ask this question and I am sorry for this.

Hi,
Yes I have the same "problem" and I asked the TAs about that and the response was:
"This is only due to the plot approximations.
Indeed the exponential model grows so fast that within two "time steps" the potential is greater than the threshold and resets. Because of this we do not see it on the plot but it did go higher than -30mv."
