Hi,
The equations from the lecture in class introduce two parameters : gamma and beta, R0 being the ratio of the two.
In the Graded exercice on epidemics 1.(a) we are asked to express the functions f and g with x,y and R0 but it seems that we need to introduce one additionnal parameter (gamma or beta) since they are independant. Do we assume that one of them is equal to 1 ?
Thanks for the help
Best,
Théo

no, there is no parameter missing. You can all the phase plane drawings without it. The same question was asked earlier by some other student.
Also as a reminder of the new policy: Please use the Slack 'pen-and-pencil exercise channel' for questions on the exercise on epidemics.

Should I be invited to join the bmnn workspace?
Thank you in advance,
