UPDATED Instructions for online exercise sessions

As it seems the way we tried to implement the online exercise sessions is not
possible, so we are moving to Slack as the main platform for our discussions during the exercise sessions.
Slack does not require to download anything it can run directly from your browser. However there is also an app in case you want to try it.  In order to join our channel you only need to click in this link: https://join.slack.com/t/bmnn-workspace/shared_invite/zt-dlecvuf9-R_yivOr74vuSd4fvHeKC0A and follow the instructions.
In our workspace, Slack is integrated with Zoom so as before the idea is that when you have a question then one of the TAs will create a direct meeting with you in Slack with Zoom. This option doesn’t require that you log in Zoom but it requires that you download the app. For the download of the app you use the following link: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/categories/200101697.

Cross fingers that this option works.
Cheers,
Your TAs

UPDATED Instructions for online exercise sessions

Hello!

I think as master students, we can't log in on zoom with our epfl account. But, if you send us directly the link of the webinar, normally, we should be able to attend it. I tried it earlier today and it worked. :)

Best

Hello Ines,
Thank you for your message!
What you write is true, we thought about this option but we decided to go this way because through slack, it is more straight-forward to answer individual questions as it happens during the exercise sessions. Zoom offer this also through waiting lists and breakout rooms but is more difficult to organize it if you have multiple hosts.
Cross fingers all go well tomorrow.

Best,

Christos
