Enrolment options

The course is an introduction to the emerging field of flexible (bio)electronics. It will provide an overview of the materials and processes used to design and manufacture flexible sensors and circuits. Applications encompass wearable sensors, human-machine interfaces and neuroprosthetics.


Weekly lectures will be conducted via on-line but live streaming, on Fridays between 3.15pm - 5pm.

Problem solving sessions will be conducted in person on Thursdays (6.15pm, CE1106) & Fridays (5.15pm, CE1101). Each session will be offered 3 times to enable all students to come on site.

  • session 1: October 1, October 2, October 8 (date according to your modulo number)
  • session 2: October 22, October 23, October 29 (date according to your modulo number)
  • session 3: November 5, November 6, November 12 (date according to your modulo number)
  • session 4: November 26, November 27, December 3 (date according to your modulo number)

Projects will be coordinated with TAs and dedicated hours to meet/zoom with TAs will be a priori on Thursdays 6-7pm CE1106 and Fridays 5-6pm CE1101.

Project presentation will be conducted during lecture hours, a priori in person, on December 11 & 18 in CE1101. (more information will be given once groups and schedules are set).
