Dear Students,
It has come to our attention that many of you have experienced issues running the virtual machines. We discovered that the issues are mostly due to the choice of the version because the latest one released requires some packets that are not always up to date on your host machine.
If this is the case for you, an easy fix is to stick to a recent version of virtualBox that is not the latest release: uninstall your version of VirtualBox and install version 6.1.4.
For Mac users, it may be that the installation requires you to first accept the software in the security preferences of the system: if this is the case uninstall VirtualBox, download it again, accept it in the security preferences and then install it again.
