Typo in MAC lecture?

Hi,

I believe there is a small mistake in the slides on the MAC layer. Slide 56, on MACSEC, differentiates shared-secret and per-user authentication, and exemplifies both with WiFi WPA-Enterprise. Isn't shared secret rather a characteristic of WPA-Personnal?

I don't know much about WPA-Enterprise, perhaps it also comes with shared secret.

Thanks for the clarification

Olivier

Hello,

Yes, you are right, it is a typo, it is:

"shared secret (e.g. WiFi WPA‐Personal ): user knows a password, same for all"

Thank you for noticing this.

Best regards,

Stéphan.
