Next week we will look at a key component of computer systems -- names. The paper of the week is Butler Lampson's Global Name Service. Because it can be a hard read, we will already discuss it in class on Tuesday -- as opposed to waiting until recitation/Thursday. So, please do a first read before Tuesday's class, so that you make the most out of in-class discussion.
