A reminder about time and place of midterm: Friday, November 12, 3:15-5:15 PM, in rooms AAC 1 20 and SG 0211.
You will be informed which is your room in due time.
You are allowed to have a personal summary on one A4 sheet recto-verso (reasonable character size typed or handwritten). The syllabus of the midterm will be everything till lecture 7 included. We typically dont ask for "theory proofs" but for "exercise solving".
We have also put two old exams with their solutions on the moodle page so you get an idea what to expect in terms of problems. Dont worry about the length and precise format as is it is not quite the same for the final exam (duration 3 hours) and midterm (dutation 2 hours). Only consider exercices 1 and 2 in each of them (and the first few questions of the quiz) because the third exercise concerns rest of semester.
