Dear Students,
As stated on IS-Academia, the final exam for CS-233(b) will take place on June 27 2022, between 9:15 and 11:15.
The exam will consist of (i) single/multiple choice questions and (ii) open-ended questions, similar to those of the mock exam which is available on Moodle. For the single-choice questions (SCQ), the correct answer contains exactly one ticked box. For multi-choice questions (MCQ), the correct answer contains at least one or more ticked boxes.
The grading scheme is such that random answering is discouraged:
- SCQ: The correct answer is awarded +3 pts and incorrect -3/(N-1) pts, where N is the total number of answers for that question.
- MCQ: Each answer is awarded +1 pt if correct and -1 pt if incorrect. Note that "correct" means that a true answer should be ticked and that a false one should be left unticked.
- If the question (SCQ or MCQ) is left unanswered, no points, positive or negative, are awarded.

And finally, you will be allowed to use one A4 sheet (both sides) of handwritten notes. You will not be allowed to use any electronic device (laptop, smartphone,...).
