Original email from EPFL:
Dear students, dear PhD students,
Between today, 17 October, and midnight on Sunday 23 October we invite you to log on to https://isa.epfl.ch and provide feedback to your teachers on your Bachelor, Masters or doctoral courses through the Indicative Student Feedback on Teaching.
You may notice that the system for student feedback has changed a little this semester: following extensive consultation with student representatives, teachers, and section directors, the feedback happens now in week 5 instead of in week 9. One reason for the change is to give feedback to teachers early enough in the semester for them to be able to make changes to their course where appropriate. Please make use of this opportunity.
To complete the indicative feedback, simply log on through the secure and confidential IS-academia environment (https://isa.epfl.ch) using your GASPAR ID.
The short indicative feedback consists of only one question per course, plus an opportunity to leave comments (your comments can be particularly useful). Remember that comments are most likely to be taken into account when they are polite and actionable. A comment which states simply “this course is bad” or “this course is great” is not very useful; your feedback should indicate what you feel is good about the course, and what can be improved.
For any technical question, please contact 1234@epfl.ch
With kind regards,
Pierre Dillenbourg, Associate Vice-President for Education
Roland Tormey, Head of CAPE
