Dear students:

1. There won't be a quiz next week.

2. I inspected the video recorded by zoom, and it's not great (I wasn't in good shape, unfortunately). Please watch the pre-recorded videos if you wish to review the lecture, they are better. There is no fundamental difference between the content covered by those videos and the zoom lecture.

3. Here's what will happen from now until the midterm:

• Wed, Nov. 2: First exercise session devoted to socket programming.
• Fri, Nov. 4: Exceptional exercise session devoted to TCP problems (this will take place in CO2).
• Wed, Nov. 9: Second exercise session devoted to socket programming.
• Fri, Nov. 11: Revision lecture (this will take place in our usual room, SG 1138).
• Wed, Nov. 16: Q&A session to help you complete your midterm preparation.
• Fri, Nov. 18: Midterm (information about rooms, etc, will follow).
