I see a lot of people complaining about some network problems lately.
I want to bring to your attention that I have opened a ticket at the IT department of EPFL because I am recently having networking problems in general when connected to the epfl network. They confirmed that there were some "instabilities" on the wifi network.
So it may or may not explain why people are having some issues in their lab (although nobody complained having problems outside of tcpip labs).
