VM setup

Hi,

My Macbook Pro suddently decided to stop recognizing my SSD and I had to change it.

Hence, I had to re-install VirtualBox and am now setting it up.

I had no issues the first time, but when configuring the Nat Network I am now asked to fill an

IPv4 Prefix and IPv6 Prefix.

I set IPv4 = 10.0.2.0/24 but do not know what to set my IPv6 Prefix to.

PD : This comes from VirtualBox latest update. Now to configure Network settings (on mac os, at least) it is not sufficient to go to VirtualBox -> Preferences -> Network. Instead, one should go to VirtualBox -> File -> Tools -> Network Manager

Dear Alexandre,

You can try fd17:625c:f037:2::/64 which is the prefix provided by the NatNetwork adapter of Virtualbox 6.1

But as we don't know all about the subtleties of Virtualbox 7.0 released last October, we recommend that you install Virtualbox 6.1 instead, avaiable here: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Download_Old_Builds_6_1
