Miniprojects

Hello everyone,

The two miniprojects are now available on Moodle in week 7

You need to submit only ONE of the two miniprojects in groups of 2. Please note that it is not possible to submit a miniproject alone -- you can use the forum "Finding Miniproject Partners" on Moodle to find a group mate.
Groups who choose miniproject 1 will train a DQN to control an epidemic, and those who choose miniproject 2 will use DDPG to control an inverted pendulum in continuous space!
Both projects are exciting and offer you a lot to learn. We are looking forward to answering your questions and discussing the projects with you in the following weeks.

Regarding the submission date, you have two options:
1. Submit by May 29 (before 23:55) and give the fraud detection interview on May 31 or June 1.
OR
2. Submit by June 5 (before 23:55) and give the fraud detection interview on June 6 or June 7.
The only difference between the two submission dates is in when you would like to give the interview -- in particular, there is NO difference in the grading scheme.

You can find the detailed instruction for submission in the PDF file of each miniproject.

As a reminder, you are encouraged to discuss the miniproject with other groups, but you are not allowed to share codeshare results, or share reports.

We wish you an exciting experience with the miniproject and a happy holiday in advance.
